The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 想看这部现象级电影很久了，刚看完忽而发觉今天是妇女节。美丽的意外。

到底什么才是活着呐
当然真正打动我的还是由始至终那股放不下的悲伤和执着，离开我们生活的那些人那些面孔，那些往事和回忆，都在远处群山中，在草原和荒野尽头，一定都还在，一定都还在。
与其说是呈现不同的生活方式，不如说是人在失去重要的羁绊同时也获得某种自由的时候，对自我存在的寻找。与大自然连接的时候确实容易想起马力克，但是又没有马力克那种内在精神的超越性。如果说是自然主义的生活流，它又显出一些刻意编排，使得人物的状态缺乏一点“自然”。音乐一开始觉得俗气后来倒也符合影片的基调。
后劲儿比较大，情绪在壮丽风景和“生活”细节的交缠下被炼出
居无定所、安居乐业、游牧民、西部开拓者……从美国传统来看，有些灵魂是注定“被流浪”的。当一类矛盾与民族性紧密关联时，它的化解本身就是矛盾了。
整体挺chill out，通俗版Terrence Malick能成新一代的鸡汤配方倒是没想到。
