The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 8分的故事讲成6分 前期故事又慢又散 好不容易都串起来了 也来了个震撼的反转 又戛然而止了 当然 桑婆的表演还是十分精彩的
剧本很好，里面的人物塑造很丰满。整个故事层层递进，叙事中带点悬疑。桑婆的演技炉火纯青，眼神中有沧桑与隐忍，坚定与不疑，值得二封。
除了当事人，其实很难知道事情的全部真相，所以请谨慎评论。
桑德拉布洛克演技太赞。这故事其实也无解，饶恕从来就是件很难的事情。
我还以为不可饶恕的是女主，或者是女主的仇家，结果原来是弟弟
铺垫的太厚实了，桑德拉的演技日臻完美炉火纯青，飞跃到人生的一个巅峰。竟有点科恩嫂的凌厉。正好把导演的细节演绎的恰到好处，最后那一个拥抱，参透了所有怀疑故事拖沓繁琐的误解，真情无憾，辗转人间……
全片以露丝的视点叙述，影片大量的闪回，通过信息差来制造悬念。在剧情反转前，我觉得影片核心在讲人对内在情绪的克制，所有的冲突的源头都是以内在的、私人的，但形式却是非理智的，而在真相被揭晓后，小小厂房里男性和女性的对峙形成了强烈的对比，一个是女性的坚韧，她能被压倒在地，也能重新站起来，一个是男性的冲动，他是一直隐忍着的，不表露情感，但当他被击溃的那一刻，他就无法再保持理智、控制行为了。

3.5 后置事件真相，加之前半程极为克制的情感暴露（从表演和导演层面均是），使得ruth到中心点时开始流露出的情感极具爆发力；不知道是不是真实事件就如此——1.ruth和katie是姐妹而非母女；2.结尾ruth冒着生命危险救的是绑架错的emily。很细微的两点，把ruth对katie的“两次拯救”剥离掉了很多身份属性（亲情）带去的动机，使得产生的情感变得纯粹且具有穿透力

意识到女主角全然是一个高贵的好人时，我觉得这部片的劲儿就全卸了。
