A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

能让人感同身受甚至换位思考是这部影片成功的关键，看似漫不经心的节奏其实都是紧凑的内心戏，没有过多的渲染和添加，温柔且生猛，无助但决绝，女孩深陷的绝望和自救比起战场上洒血的男人更悲决和坚定。更难得的是片子没有明显的说教倾向，把一个事实摆出来，是对是错每个观影者心里都有一把尺。
而且就觉得火星救援它不香了。
既然失去了理解的机会，就有更多地时间关注于电影语言的表达，在这方面做的极佳，在脱离语境的条件下依然能够触动到我。

看完去Google了一下，法国居然是1975年才合法化堕胎的......（蛮好笑的冷知识是苏联是全球第一个合法化堕胎的国家——由列宁同志推动）。哈，计划外的怀孕， “the disease that only women get”.
法国版《悲伤逆流成河》，没有刻意的渲染但整部影片充斥着压抑和恐惧，足够让观众带入少女恐惧的视角，平稳有力地牵动全场观众的情绪，这片子要是早几年上映郭敬明应该会放弃导演梦。。
精神和身体上的痛与煎熬，女人满足欲望的代价太大了。堕胎合法的必要性是不可无视的。#SGIFF32
全片最记忆深刻的对白 当女主又开始准备考试时老师问 what happened to you? something that only happened to women, that turn girls into housewives 怀孕意味着什么？ 孕育生命本是一项不说神圣吧，起码是至关重要的生物责任，影响着全人类的未来 然而围绕着这项生物责任的却是各种各样的陷阱跟阶级隔阂来削弱并控制女性作为生育资源的选择权跟自由度 完全解释了为什么现在大部分有选择的年轻人都知难而退
笑点很尬，而且和主线剧情几乎毫无关系。如果把刻意搞笑的部分全部摘掉，变成一个更加正儿八经的剧本，观感会好很多。当然，也意味着票房肯定会变差。对市场的妥协，挺可惜，也挺无奈的。工艺水平方面如特效、布景等是肉眼可见的巨大进步
从女主视角进行的直线叙事，没有枝蔓，男人们站得远远的轻巧推脱，私下交易的非法堕胎手术，直面淋漓的鲜血拍得不留情面。女性导演并不是刻板印象的细腻温柔感性或煽情，女性导演的取材和观察世界的角度，才是她们与男导演的区别。把1960年代的生死无助冷静呈现，才能让今日的人们明白，女性对自己身体的主权，是如何一寸一寸争取回来的。
对照着最近某县的事情看更有体会，都是关乎女性对自己身体的决定权，即便说的是60年代，但你会发现，即便60年过去了女性还是需要拼尽全力去争取这些最基本的人权，这种事情永远正在发生。
一部不忍直视的“冒险史”，我们被“捆绑”在女主周围却无法介入和挽救，被动的经历这段虽不及她承受的百分之一却已足够残酷的受难，三次堕胎，直指历史的三层罪孽：虚情假意的权威欺骗，走投无路的个体自虐，以及被左右在窒息濒死的炼狱中意外未被碾灭的幸存者的渺小，当然最终还是留下了希望与真相，但哪怕女性权利终于崛起，今日必然也无法同历史保持着绝对安全的距离，我们仍身在其中，一次次恐怖的对身体的摧残与流血，也是向历史的回击，伤痕与悲悯中，女主被赋予了强烈的宗教意味，然当下的人们又有谁在牺牲和落泪，仍该叩问，仍该抗争。
和《四月三周两天》有点像，但是那个故事感觉更痛苦了
电影七分，没有任何不敬的意思，但女孩子们还是别那么轻易跟人无套做，尤其是在一个打胎违法的国家
医生的签名能把你关进社会牢笼，男人的精子能将你送入精神囹圄。子宫罹患着女人独有的绝症，脐带连接着会被葬送的人生。世俗注射保胎针，律法决定器官自由。枕上的欲望令人羞耻，身上的创伤代表放荡。希望下次淬火的铁钎不是捅向自己的身体，卖掉金项链真的是为了旅行，不必以整个人生为代价创造新生。
简单，直白，有力。
