The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 小强演了个莫名其妙的反派，主配角表演动作基本在线，中间逃亡一段气氛营造足够紧张，也就这样了，剧本太差，导演仅满足于剪了一个故事，其他什么都没有

低配版《谍影重重》，优秀标兵面临退役中年危机。生活重担房贷压在身上，曾经为国家付出自己，现在却再也不能实现自身的社会价值。被迫加入雇佣兵组织，执行一些国家不见得光的任务。结尾让我有点想不到，但是整个故事结构简单，推进缓慢，感觉更像是一个生活剧情片，而不是军事动作电影。里面穿插着家庭，军队的兄弟情义等裹含的元素，打戏相当相当的少。如果是冲着像《谍影重重》那样的打斗戏就基本可以告退了。你把它当成像一部网剧那样 一点一点来播放的话，那还是挺不错的。
叙事手法熟练，敢于自嘲调侃政府软肋潜规则，敢于表现平民生活的治安苦难，没有空洞爱国主义的口号，没有伟光正的领导，格斗动作快慢镜头设计不弱于john wick，而且人家就敢表现把恐怖分子从飞机上扔下去的反人权举动，看着很爽，毕竟是科幻，所以就算吹牛逼也比战狼水平高。期待第二部和美女科学家发展下去。
《杀神》大卖之后，所有过气演员（包括但不限于温斯特德和克里斯派恩），都开始走卖惨路线了。。
太老套了 救命 男主是神奇女侠心心念念的史蒂夫 女主是小丑女 这个阵容但是这个剧情… / 最后男主的好战友居然还要死一次 无语了 / 比较喜欢男主被救下来在安全屋和小绵羊的一部分对话
剧情虎头蛇尾，前半部枪战场面还是不错的，但最后的庄园突击行动有点过于鲁莽了，根本不象特种兵能干的活儿，而且也没揭露背后的黑手。

男主叫阿周那，我刚想说机场接机男女主双双身亡，全剧终😂男主被救醒了，下身瘫痪，然后高官开会时，提到中国我看了下地图竟然按实控线划的，只要了藏南。。。另外不得不说后面打斗很无聊，不要去看，还敬请期待第二部呢。。。
故事较老套，阵容还可以。美国人在德国搞事情，还是有关生物病毒，这个梗在当下有点意思。
后面垮掉。开始的行动也不清楚。反正就是比较老套的故事。
枪战还行，逻辑有问题。老伙计肯定是趁机解决了男主才是正常思维吧...硬要去2 v n送人头？
为埃迪·马森加一颗星，虽然这部电影里演了一个雇佣兵，但形象依旧和《寂静人生》里一样温暖善良。连续两天看了两部克里斯派恩的电影，比起昨天的《宝刀未老》，这部虽然枪战动作戏份更多，画面没那么无聊乏味，剧情却差了不止一点。实在搞不懂反派老大为什么要杀男主，本来啥事没有，让他回来四百万抚恤金都省了。另外男主也是谁碰谁倒霉。好兄弟放着安生日子不过了帮你出头，你就直接带着人家去端基地，这不是送死么，好歹准备谋划一下啊，不是谁都自带主角光环的。
枪战场面的拟真做得很不错，剧作可以视作《谍影重重》加入道德立场的个体对抗体制，换格林格拉斯执导或许能将质量提高一个档次。
主角作为谢霆锋的同龄人显得有些老气，但是作风还是很硬派的。之前看他的星际迷航系列，很不错。
